i'm good at disappearing aren't i? it just so happens i have moved to bowling green and started my new job on campus, and thanks to the help of steve i now have my own place, complete with an extra room for band practice and good times galore. things are going alright these days, but i can't really say if i will be cruising around on lj anymore. i have to get some kind of idea of what my bills are going to be like before i can even think about getting an internet connection. hell, i don't even have television right now! that's ok though, who needs it?

some more fun things i forgot to mention.

i cut my own hair today!! yes indeed, it was getting bushy, AGAIN! didn't feel like washing it and tipping crazy 80's lady ten dollars so i broke out the scissors.
the haircut i normally get involves skilled hands and an ability to see the back of my head, so i wasn't quite sure what to do at first. then i remembered about a year ago, considering a bowie-esque haircut but not quite having the guts. i guess my balls have dropped since then.
i went for his most glorious, hip semi-mullet made famous by the motion picture, "the labyrinth." like this.
needless to say mine is not near as dramatic. first of all my hair is a dark color and does not glow as if jesus himself was sitting on my head. second, my hair was pretty short to begin with but i left the sides and bangs at their previously unacceptable length and cut the top short so it would spike up. i'm going to try to work on this by keeping the top short and letting the sides continue to grow. it's been a long time since i've been comfortable with the fact that my hair is growing even as i type this. it used to keep me up at night, until now. i'm sleeping good tonight!!

i will try to get a picture, like so many other things i need to take pictures of. real-life visuals prove to be quite dull sometimes. which is why i've been drawing a lot. i drew this one.. thing. ....yeah, i can't describe what it is, aside from absurd. i scanned it and have been spending quite a bit of time cleaning it up and adding some color. it should be epic when it's complete! makes me giggle.
